Terms of sale

# General terms of sale

They apply to the paid service that prints and posts your cancellation letter. The comparison, the guide and the PDF download stay free and are not covered by them.

## 1. Scope

These terms govern the contract between you and Sébastien Trosset (“PremiMatch” below, see the [legal notice](https://premimatch.ch/en/legal-notice/)) for the printing and posting of the cancellation letter for basic health insurance (Grundversicherung / assurance de base), ordered on https://premimatch.ch. They apply to every order placed from the version date shown at the bottom of the page.

The service is for adults who cancel their own basic insurance, or that of family members they represent.

## 2. The service

On the site, you write a cancellation letter from the information you enter: name, address, date of birth, insured number (Versichertennummer / numéro d'assuré), current insurer and, where relevant, other family members. You sign on screen. PremiMatch prints this letter and hands it to its partner print shop, which posts it through Swiss Post:

- **A Mail Plus** (“tracked mail”): sent as A Mail with a tracking number;
- **Registered mail**: sent as a registered letter, with tracking and confirmation of delivery.

The price covers printing, postage, tracking on the site and the order e-mails. The service is a dispatch service: PremiMatch does not check the content of the letter, does not advise you and is not a party to your insurance contract. The letter remains available free of charge as a PDF, to print, sign and post yourself.

## 3. Prices

- A Mail Plus: **CHF 9.90** per letter.
- Registered mail: **CHF 14.90** per letter.

Prices are in Swiss francs. No VAT is charged: the operator is not subject to VAT. The price shown before payment is the price you are charged. PremiMatch may change its prices; the price in force at the time of the order applies.

## 4. Order and conclusion of the contract

1. You enter your information and read the letter through. Its content is your responsibility: check the name, address, date of birth, insured number and receiving insurer before paying.
2. You choose the sending option, enter an e-mail address and sign on screen, one signature per adult named in the letter.
3. You pay in Stripe's form. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. You then receive a confirmation e-mail with the order reference and a copy of the letter as it is printed.

Nothing is printed or sent before the payment is confirmed. A payment that does not go through means no charge and no order.

## 5. Payment

Payment is made through Stripe, with the methods offered in its form (TWINT, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Your payment details go straight to Stripe; PremiMatch neither sees nor keeps them. Stripe's receipt, sent to the e-mail address you entered, is your proof of payment.

## 6. Fulfilment and timing

- The letter is handed to the print shop as soon as the payment is confirmed. A letter confirmed before 12:00 (Swiss time) on a working day is handed to Swiss Post the same day; otherwise on the next working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, public holidays excepted.
- Swiss Post carries the letter under its own terms: A Mail Plus and registered mail are normally delivered on the next working day. PremiMatch has no control over Swiss Post and cannot guarantee a delivery date.
- You follow your letter on the tracking page (the link is in the e-mails) and receive an e-mail when the payment is confirmed, when the letter is handed to Swiss Post and, when Swiss Post reports it, when it is delivered.

## 7. Cancellation deadline and content of the letter

The cancellation must **reach** your insurer by the last working day of November at the latest (art. 7 para. 2 of the Health Insurance Act, KVG/LAMal; for 2027, 30 November 2026) to take effect on 1 January. At the time of the order, the site shows when a letter posted now normally arrives. It is up to you to order early enough.

PremiMatch is not responsible:

- for a late arrival caused by Swiss Post or by an order placed too late;
- for a letter that cannot be used because of inaccurate information you entered;
- for what your insurer does with the cancellation. The signature you draw on screen is printed on the letter; PremiMatch cannot guarantee that every insurer accepts it as a handwritten signature. If in doubt, ask your insurer, or use the free PDF and sign it by hand.

A cancellation that does not go through never leaves you without insurance: you stay insured with your current insurer, at its premium.

## 8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refund

Swiss law provides no right of withdrawal for an online purchase (art. 40a of the Code of Obligations, CO). As printing starts as soon as the payment is confirmed, an order can no longer be cancelled once the letter has been handed to the print shop.

PremiMatch refunds you in full, by the payment method used, when the letter could not be posted for a reason attributable to PremiMatch or to its providers (outage, printing impossible, wrong insurer address in our lists, letter returned by Swiss Post as undeliverable). In that case, you are told on the tracking page and can send the free PDF yourself.

No refund is due when the letter was handed to Swiss Post as ordered, nor when the sending fails because of inaccurate information you entered.

## 9. Complaints

For any complaint, write to [service@premimatch.ch](mailto:service@premimatch.ch) within 30 days of the order, quoting the order reference. Never pay a second time for the same letter without writing to us first: we start by checking what became of the first one.

## 10. Liability

PremiMatch performs the service with care. Its liability is limited to the amount paid for the order concerned, except in the case of intent or gross negligence and subject to mandatory legal provisions (art. 100 CO). PremiMatch is not liable for indirect losses, in particular for a premium paid for one more year to the current insurer when the cancellation did not take effect.

## 11. Personal data

The information in the letter is encrypted, passed only to the necessary providers and deleted after sending. Everything is described in the [privacy notice](https://premimatch.ch/en/privacy/), which forms part of these terms.

## 12. Applicable law, jurisdiction and final provisions

- The contract is governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered office, subject to the mandatory places of jurisdiction the law provides for consumers.
- These terms exist in French, German, Italian and English. In the event of a discrepancy, the French version prevails.
- If a clause is void, the others remain valid.
- PremiMatch may change these terms; the version in force at the time of the order applies to that order.
