Visana offers basic insurance in all 26 cantons. In 2027, its standard monthly premium for an adult (26 and over, with accident cover, CHF 300 deductible) ranges from **CHF 441.50** (Zug) to **CHF 858.90** (Ticino, region 1). For basic insurance, the benefits reimbursed are the same in every model. An alternative model restricts your first point of contact in exchange for a lower premium.

In none of the 42 regions where it operates does Visana have the cheapest standard offer. Its lowest standard premium for an adult is CHF 441.50 a month (Zug). ### 2. How do I cancel Visana?

### 3. Which insurance models does Visana offer?

Free choice of doctor, Combined model, Telemedicine, Family doctor or HMO. Basic insurance benefits are identical in every model and with every insurer; only the price and the first point of contact change.

### 4. Can Visana refuse to insure me?

No. For basic insurance (KVG/LAMal), every insurer must accept anyone living in a canton where it operates, whatever their age or health, with no medical questionnaire. This is not the case for supplementary insurance.
